Time trialed 5th overall
Heat 1 started 5th finished 7th
Heat 2 started 2nd DNF (electrical issues)
Final started 7th finished 5th

Had the chance to run on the podium restarts just did not go our way.

Overall we are happy with the car first night out making some changes in the right direction every time just need to get better at reading a tricky racetrack to find some speed throughout the whole night.

Ellis and his crew have officially checked into Toowoomba Speedway for the first night of the season!

With a field of 13 Late Models, we’re ready to kick off the season and hoping for a much better outcome than our last meeting here last season. 🤞🏁

A huge thank you to our incredible crew who have worked hard to make tonight possible, and to everyone who has come along to support us. We couldn’t do it without you!

RUDD’S TOWING DIRT LATE MODEL ALLSTAR SERIES FIRES UP THIS SATURDAY!

A new era for Dirt Late Model racing in Toowoomba begins this Saturday night with the opening round of the Rudd’s Towing Dirt Late Model Allstar Series at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.

The inaugural track series launches with 13 nominations, and the most exciting part is the strength of the growing local contingent. Only two drivers — Tasmania’s Ellis Dickenson and Cobar, NSW racer Jai Stephenson — are travelling from outside Queensland, with eleven locals entered and more than a dozen Queensland teams not quite ready for this Saturday’s round, it signals and exciting future for the division in Queensland as we expect fields to regularly push beyond 20 cars as the season progresses.

It’s a great sign for the continued growth of Dirt Late Model racing in Queensland and exactly why we’re excited to launch this new series alongside Rudd’s Towing.

Round 1 gets underway this Saturday at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway with Late Models on track from 4:40pm for hotlaps followed by qualifying, heat race action plus the main event at approx 9:30pm.

If you can’t catch the action trackside, be sure to tune into Clay-Per-View to witness it live.

The new T28 late model is locked and loaded and heading across to the big island tonight in readiness for Ellis’s 2026/27 racing season official beginning this Saturday in Toowoomba.

Today our team took a break from the busy pre race season preparation and shared their valuable time to join me to participate in the Women’s 5km walk for the Cancer Council of Tasmania.

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer twice in the last 7 years, I know first hand how helpful and fantastic the Cancer Council are, so it means a lot to me to be able to give something back to those who have supported me by participating in this event.

Thank you to my kids, their girls and my hubby for joining me today, I appreciate you all so very much.

Now let’s get back on the tools and get those cars ready for a great season of racing and making memories 🏁.

🏁2026-2027 season reveal!🏁

We are thrilled to announce our ongoing partnership with R&J Batteries and Fuchs Oils has continued for the upcoming season with our late models.

Without the supoort of all our sponsors we simply couldn’t be racing once again this season with a two car operation.

The car will be on display at the Launceston store today so be sure to call down and see the team.

We have also released our latest batch of merchandise with a little extra piece added this year… 🐾
A variety of sizes in both t-shirts and hoodies are available plus mini doors, hats, beanies, stubby holders, stickers, kids packs and much more will be seen in the coming weeks.

Merchandise will be sold at each track on the night we are racing, you can also contact our page and we can arrange shipping etc.
