🔒✍️ The Berry brothers are locked in for 2027! 🫐🍓

Daniel and Jack Berry have both recommitted to the Eagles for next season.

Since joining the club in 2025, Daniel has quickly established himself as one of the competition’s most dangerous forwards. A popular character around the club, his experience and ability inside 50 will again be a valuable part of our senior group in 2027. We’re looking forward to seeing him put together a huge season.

Jack has been a valued member of the Eagles for several seasons now, establishing himself as a dogged and reliable ruckman. After playing some great football in 2026 before injury interrupted his season, Jack is looking forward to a full preseason and another big season in 2027.

Great to have both Daniel and Jack committed to the Eagles for another season. 🦅

Ressies coaches locked and loaded for 2027

Familiar face Stewart Nankervis rejoins the coaching fold, after serving as a previous player, Women’s coach and reserves coach. A loyal servant with a clever footy brain and knack for empowering his players, we’re so pleased to have Stew back at the club.

Another crowd favourite joins Stew, Matty Allen, a selfless player and club person who steps up when you need and is club first at all times. Bussa has been instrumental in securing players and coaches over the years, and is known for grabbing the mic for a ‘roaming Bussa’ session or selling raffle tickets, a man of many talents.

Let’s go get 2027 💪

🔒✍️ Three more locked in for 2027!

Caleb Bushing, Jordan Loone & Harrison Lamperd have all recommitted for next season.

Entering his sixth season with the club, Caleb is a much-valued member of the Eagles. His ability to play a number of roles within the 22 makes him an important part of our senior group.

Since joining the Eagles in 2025, Jordan has been a great addition to the group, providing valuable leadership behind the ball while also playing an important role through the midfield. His experience and versatility will again be important in 2027.

Harrison has continued to grow at senior level, showing plenty of versatility across a number of roles. The club is excited to see what he can do with another preseason under his belt in 2027.

Three valued members of the Eagles and great to have them all back on board for 2027! 🦅

A huge thank you to our Ressies coaches for the last two seasons, Brodie Reaney and Kade Moore for their coaching services to the club. After taking the twos to a premiership in 2025 and another finals series in 2026, the boys will wrap up their coaching helm this year. We’re all pleased that Plugger and Moorey will stay involved at the club in playing and other roles for 2027 and beyond.

A twos coaching role is arguably one of the hardest jobs at a club and we are proud to say that these boys will have their names etched in club history with their impact and of course, the flag, leaving a lasting impression. Thanks Plugger and Moorey 🤝🦅
