What a season for our girls program at Souths JCC!

In the inaugural MSW Stage 3 Girls Winter Competition, Souths dominated from start to finish, with the Souths Stars claiming the Premiership and the Souths Comets finishing runners-up. To have our two teams finish first and second is an incredible achievement and a testament to the strength, depth and culture of our growing girls program. 💙💛

The Premiership-clinching performance belonged to Erina Goodair, who was deservedly named Player of the Match after an unforgettable all-round display. Erina brought up her maiden half-century, finishing 50 not out from 43 balls, before producing a brilliant effort in the field with 2 run outs and a catch to help seal the title. ⭐👏

This result is a wonderful reflection of the dedication of our players, coaches, volunteers and families who continue to make girls cricket at Souths JCC such a success. We couldn’t be prouder of what these young cricketers have achieved.

What a way to finish the Warehouse Winter Cricket season!

Congratulations to our Souths Flanders U16s, who claimed the Warehouse Winter Cricket U16 Division Premiership with a superb Grand Final victory, completed in just a single day. 👏💙💛

A special shout out to Edward Isoardi, whose outstanding all-round performance earned him Player of the Match honours. Edward starred with the bat, smashing 64 runs from just 42 balls and taking 1 wicket and help secure the win. 🔥🏏

This premiership is a credit to the hard work, teamwork and commitment shown by the entire squad throughout the season. Congratulations to all players, coaches, families and supporters who helped make this achievement possible.

🏆🥇 GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS! 🥇🏆

Another trophy is heading to the Souths JCC cabinet after our B3 team capped off a fantastic season by claiming the Warehouse Cricket Sunday T20-B3 Competition Premiership!

The road to the title was anything but easy. In the Semi-Final, Souths JCC overcame the Gold Crest Cobras by 53 runs, with Hamish Gillespie producing a sensational spell to take 6 wickets and power the team into the Grand Final.

Then, in the big dance, the boys delivered again. Facing the Maratha Warriors, Souths JCC secured a convincing 7-wicket victory, led by an outstanding innings from Ram Prasanth, who blasted 80 runs from just 37 balls to steer the team to championship glory. 💥🏏

A huge congratulations to every player, coach, volunteer and supporter who contributed to another memorable season. To make the Grand Final is an achievement. To bring home the silverware is something special.

Registrations are building and places are limited across all Academy squads. To make sure every player receives quality coaching, feedback and plenty of involvement, squad numbers are capped and registrations will close once an age group reaches capacity.
