Good luck Bonnie and enjoy the amazing experience of competing at the National Games 🤩👏

🎾NATIONAL GAMES – ATHLETE IN FOCUS🎾

Meet Bonnie Johnson, our very own MER tennis star!

Bonnie is the only MER athlete representing us in tennis at the National Games, competing in Division 3! 🙌

Bonnie has been part of MER for four years and is also an amazing contributor to our community as an Athlete Leader and Assistant Coach with the Ferntree Gully Tennis Club All Abilities program.

She’s been training hard for the Games, working on her consistency during matches. Bonnie also brings plenty of experience, having been a finalist in the Women’s Doubles at the 2023 IDA Australian National Tennis Championships!

Bonnie’s top tips for improving your tennis? Practise as often as you can, watch the experts play and always be open to learning!

If she could compete anywhere in the world, Bonnie would choose Germany! 🇩🇪

Good luck, Bonnie! We’re so proud to have you representing MER and can’t wait to cheer you on at the National Games! ❤️🤍
