The Seniors Trophy night was held after the Junior trophies, Colour Run and dinner at Sticks and Stones. This was a calmer part of the afternoon/evening after the excitement of the colour run, with organisers able to take a seat and enjoy the professional MC take charge.

We can't thank Lani enough for taking the microphone. She did a great job keeping the afternoon to time and organised. The tone was perfect as a representation of the community feel within Pine Hills Hockey Club.

Across the season in BWHA teams vote for their Best and Fairest player in the opposing team after their game. It was fabulous see a number of our senior players recognised with Zayda and Fiona Wilson nominated for the Best and Fairest Award for DP2. Stacey Williamson was nominated in MM4. Rounding out a fabulous personal season Cat Grima received the award for Best and Fairest in MM3.

Congratulations to Stephanie Brampton who played in the victorious Brisbane 5 team who took out Division 3 in their QLD State Championships in Rockhampton last week. What a great representative hockey debut!

Another of our J players, Adele Flinders, was named as shadow for Brisbane and Redlands were fortunate to pick her up to play. It's nice to see this photo of the players when they got to catch up between games. With this Championship being Adele's representative debut, there are exciting times ahead.

Congratulations to Steph and Adele in trialling and having such success. We look forward to seeing more faces in the future coming through!

Our U16 representative players had a huge start to their school holidays last week with U16 QLD State Championships for the boys in Townsville and the girls in Rockhampton.

- Ethan Harris.

Brisbane 2 finished up in 3rd place in Division 2. Congratulations to:
- Lincoln Bartley,
- Lachlan Phillips-Bradley,
- Michael Power,
- Harrison Rogusz and
- Damon Guymer.

Brisbane 3 had a huge contingent of Pine Hills/PRSA players, we are very proud of:
- Heath Baker
- Xavier Bell
- Nate Everist
- Owen Hunter
- Louis Hitchison and
- Colin Shaner.

With a special shout out to Owen Mitchell, a J2 player who played for Ipswich at the Championships too.

Such a huge contingent from the combined J's teams it was fabulous to watch their Club team work come out on the field in Townsville. Big thanks to the Brisbane Hockey Association Inc. staff that accompanied the boys who ended up with an extra night in Townsville, thanks to a cancelled flight. Further thanks for whoever took care of the wet hockey gear that had to stay in the bags too long!

Our recipient of the Goalie Encouragement Award, Bria Coleman features in this Chronic Pain Australia video.

Occasionally Bria will be seen at training in a wheelchair as she recovers, now we can understand why.

Such resilience from Bria and her family. Their story reminds us about invisible injuries and the quiet toll they can take.

How lucky we are to have the family involved with Pine Hills Hockey Club.

What a fabulous celebration to finish off the 2026 season. Friday night we saw the JT4 team take out their Minor and Major Premiership, and Sunday we hosted around 100 kids for a colour run and 200 for dinner!

Congratulations to all the trophy recipients, their stories will be coming.

Thank you to the teams who created obstacles to slow the kids down, the enthusiasm of all those who joined in, the older kids who lead the way and the organisers, this was an end of season to remember. We hope everyone slept well afterwards and car seats, bathrooms and towels made a good recovery.

Enjoy the hint of before and after of the victorious JT4 team.
