A solid effort from the A grade in the field has them in a decent position halfway through the first two-dayer of the summer.
The C1s did well to restrict Glenunga at Findon High and with a bit of luck are in with a good chance this weekend.
Meanwhile it was heartbreak for the LO7s, going down on the last ball of the day in their season opener 💔 - but the boys showed plenty of ticker and it won't be long before the first win comes 💚💛

Presumably a few are still recovering from Saturday night!
Thanks to everyone that helped out with the $1000 draw, particularly Fiona and Leonie and of course Adena - the only person to win the $1000 and actually receive a cheer from the crowd rather than calls for a redraw...
All the help on the night is appreciated - keep an eye out for a social events calendar soon, with the annual Christmas show, another $1000 Draw and plenty of other shows still to come this summer 💚💛

CHRISTMAS EVE
Reminder to all, the $1000 Draw takes place tomorrow night. Get down to the club and get involved as we properly kick off the summer 💚💛🍻

Is this year finally your year?
The famous $1000 Draw is back for 2026/27
We're talking cash, paddles, beers, food and hopefully a strong start to the summer.
Saturday 17 October from 7pm, get onto Willo for tickets and anything else you want to bug him with 💛💚

The big dogs are back this week as the LO7s make their 2026/27 summer debut 🚨
Meanwhile both the C1s and B1s are at home leading into the $1000 Draw, handy to say the least.
Congrats to Adrian, Jesse, Praveen, Arjun and Linto on their club debuts and a warm welcome back to Sam Ferrier who will feature in week two for the A grade. Good luck boys 💚💛

Our monthly Bunnings BBQ done & dusted today. A ripper day & profit for the club. $1,165 to be exact.
A big thanks to our crew who gave up their time to help out today. Les, Harro, Willo, Dawn, Thomo & David. Thanks to each of you.
Next BBQ date is the 11th November.

Are you a former Rechabite in any way, shape or form? If so, get around the Ol' Rechs who are back for another big summer 💚💛

A well-rounded batting performance set up a solid win for the A grade at St Peter's on Saturday to kick off the B1 season with a bang.
Back at Matheson the C1s ran into a strong Unley side and despite a few handy efforts the boys fell short in the season opener.
Normal service resumes this week with the LO7s in action for the first time this campaign before the $1000 draw kickstarts the summer on Saturday night 💚💛

The boys are back 💚💛
Congratulations to Harley Mackinnon and Caidan Pivetta who will lead our B1 and C1 teams respectively this year.
Vish Sasikumar will take on the LO7 captaincy when the 40-over specialists return next week.
The club is pumped to welcome back Murcho, Rowan, Pottsy, Caidan, Fynn and Tisma into the fold and congratulations are in order for Matty Neville and VG who will both play their first senior games for the club in the C1s this weekend.
Good luck to all tomorrow 🏏

Not all posts are ones we want to make!
On the eve of the season it seems fitting to draw attention to two massive contributors to our club.
Karl Wagenfeller has been a fixture at the Rechas for a very long time, playing in premierships in his younger days before dominating the LOs in recent years.
Tyler Stopp has been around the place for a while in his own right and stood up when we needed it most, captaining the A grade to promotion last year.
While both contributed plenty on-field, they also happen to be two excellent club men and have been an asset off it.
Stoppy and Karl have moved on from playing with the club in 2026/27 but neither will be forgotten any time soon.
Thanks for everything fellas and good luck for the future - we hope to catch you soon for a drink and a chat 💚💛
