Welcome Alex Morgan, our Playing Coach for 2027!

We’re thrilled to announce Alex Morgan as our new Men’s Playing Coach for season 2027.

Alex made a huge impression throughout the selection process. Three things in particular stood out to the panel: his footy IQ, his work ethic and the level of preparation he brings to his coaching.

Having spent the past few years as a City training coach, while also stepping up to take charge on game day on several occasions, Alex is ready for the opportunity to lead his own group and put his stamp on where we’re heading.

And we’re not just getting a coach. Alex brings 200-plus games of North Eastern Football League experience, a Mail Medal and plenty of quality as a player.

Most importantly, we’re bringing a quality person into our Club.

We can’t wait to see Alex get to work with our talented playing group and take the next step in his coaching journey.

Welcome aboard, Alex!
