Balmain Touch Announces Senior Representative Club Captains for 2026

Balmain Touch is pleased to announce the appointment of Erica Cassen and Corey Griffin as our Senior Club Captains for the 2026 season.

Both Erica and Corey are highly respected members of the Balmain Touch community and have demonstrated outstanding leadership, commitment, sportsmanship and dedication to the club. Their willingness to support fellow players, contribute beyond the field and lead by example makes them exceptional choices for these important roles.

Congratulations to Meg and her family! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Meg represented NSWCCC U15G at the recent NSW All Schools Selections Tournament and her performances earned her selection into the team to represent NSW U15G at the upcoming School Sport Australia Tournament, where she will come up against the best the country has to offer. Well done to Meg and her family. The Balmain Touch family is incredibly proud of your achievements and are right behind you for the upcoming School Sport Australia Tournament.

Congratulations to Dan, Flynn, Kyle and Rory for their recent efforts at the European Touch Championships 2026 in Vichy, France.

Ireland Mens Open 🇮🇪 (Flynn & Kyle) narrowly defeated by England 🇬🇧 7-8 in the Grand Final 🥈

Ireland Mixed Open (Rory) 🇨🇮 defeated by Belgium 🇧🇪 7-10 to finish 6th overall

Italy Mixed Open (Dan) 🇮🇹 defeating Germany 8-7 to finish 7th overall

Special mention to Rory who continued on into the Youth European Touch Championships 2026 in Coventry, England.

Ireland Mixed 20s (Rory) 🇨🇮 defeated England 🇬🇧 9-6 in the Grand Final to be crowned Champions of Europe for 2026 🏆🥇

NTL (National Touch Championships 2027) PLAYER EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) NOW OPEN

Sydney Mets are now calling for EOIs from any players looking to take their game to the next level.

The NTL Championships is a 4 day tournament held in Coffs Harbour March 11th-14th 2026. It is a national tournament where you will be able to compete against some of the best in the nation. Divisions contested range from U20s, opens and above.

You will get exposure to higher levels of coaching and game play, which will help elevate your game and growth within the sport of Touch.
