Congratulations to our new Club 4s champions! It was an awesome afternoon in the sun (eventually) and very deserving winners as Brendan, Scott, Henry and Timmy West get their names up in gold!

We've got a new projector and new speakers in the hall and what better opportunity to try them out than by cheering on the Matildas in the Final of the Women's Asian Cup!

Matty’s journey is the kind of story every club hopes to tell — a story of grit, patience, and a bloke who simply refused to give up. After three long years of battling through novice tournaments, taking the knocks, learning the hard lessons, and showing up week after week with heart and hunger, he’s finally done it. He’s got the chocolates. He’s the Northern Gateway Novice Champion.

What a moment for his bowls career, What a proud moment for all of us who’ve watched the journey unfold.

You’ve shown what it means to wear Flem Ken colours with pride, and we couldn’t be more thrilled that you chose to bowl for this club.

What a fantastic day at our tournament!

It was marvellous to host our second tournament on the new bowls green and it was a huge success. We received so many compliments about how well the green is running, which was great to hear.

Thank you to all the clubs who entered and came along — we loved having you and can’t wait to host you again.

What a way to kick off the Autumn Nelson Alexander Community Cup! A whopping 18 TEAMS with a combined 72 players graced our green last night. 3 more weeks to go. Great fun, amazing energy and fantastic community spirit. See you all again next Thursday!
