The 2023 Melbourne Cup has been run and won congratulations to Without A Fight. So for Mercury Principle Events its on to the the next events on the calenderer . World Supercross at Marvel Stadium premium seats available, The Boxing Day Test at The MCG in December corporate suites and premium reserved seating. There is the replacement facility called "The Panoramic" but we have decided that there are better and more cost effective options available in other areas for 2023. Well another Melbourne Cup Carnival run and won, congratulations to all the connections of Gold Trip. The weather held out for the Cup and the presentations, it was disappointing to see the once great The Winning Post Enclosure Flemington reduced to a single storey facility. It was even sadder seeing the vast empty space at the rear where there was once 1600 people enjoying The Home Straight Enclosure with the gardens and live band.

Who knows the VRC may look at bringing them both back in 2023 although I am not confident. It's a shame as it is a great location to see all the races live unlike some of the new areas that you only see one or two live races past them.

Great AFL Seats for MCG & Marvel Stadium.

Instead of the Cup try the AFL we have a some great packages for all remaining games and the AFL Grand Final.

Check out these great games this weekend at the MCG and Marvel Stadium. Great Medallion Club Seats are available call us on 03 9425 9449. There is a small number of dining packages available for Collingwood v Carlton round 23 at The MCG.

For all those wishing to book Melbourne Cup Carnival hospitality this year, there are very few options available if you have booked previously in The Winning Post Enclosure, as their is no Winning Post Enclosure the new area in there is much smaller and only being offered as a sole use facility a minimum of 50 people. I will give a brief overview of a couple but availability is limited as so little product is being offered.

The Furphy Deck

It is the entry level product with cocktail food includes a beer and wine package. Bear in mind this product offers no protection from the elements apart from umbrellas, great if it is fine weather. Cup Day Sold Out other days available but numbers are limited.

The Riverside Bar & Bistro

A new facility is the Riverside Bar and Bistro it will be ok but please note you will only have 2 races actually run past you live on Cup and Derby days, one on other days as it is located on the back turn past the post and before the barriers on all but races over 2400M.

So if you are a keen Punter you are probably not going to be happy here. That is despite what the information says on the website see every race up close, well you will after all but two races are finished. Cup Day $970pp.

Makybe Diva Marquee

Good location with views over the track (not from in the marquee though) been around for 10+ years plated menu with beer and wine package. Cup Day $1200 very limited numbers. Other days still available.

The Parade Lounge

Is located adjacent to the Parade Ring and is a cocktail format with beverage package including Beer, Wine and soft drinks. Is a great location but viewing can be a bit hard as it is all one level unless your on the outside of the balcony but a great spot, close to everything. The price is $1125pp.

The Rose Room

An upmarket temporary restaurant built for the Cup Carnival, terraced tables of 12 and 12 giving views across the track. Located behind glass with a 5 course degustation menu from the Winning Post Enclosure caterer Atlantic Group. Offers standard spirits, beer wine and soft drinks. Has access to an outside viewing area on ground in front of marquee but not a deck as the Winning Post had.

There are other options above $1200 per person available.
