Forest Lake parkrun

16/10/2026

Hello parkrun family, looking forward to seeing you all in the morning. A big shout out to everyone who has offered to volunteer this week. We started the week with only a few vollies, not enough to hold parkrun. By tonight we have a full roster, except for a photographer. Please remember to thank these amazing people tomorrow, cos without them, parkrun could not go ahead.
Course check is done and looking good. The bush turkeys have been hard at work and the rain yesterday made things a bit messy!! Just watch your step tho especially if it’s dewy or wet overnight.
If you feel like wearing pink, tomorrow is definitely the day to do it…..💝🥰👍 bring out your tutus, pink shirts/shorts.
SLEEP WELL, see you in the morning

Here we are again, just three more sleeps till we get to run, jog or walk our 5 km Saturday morning ritual.
Still need to fill some essential roles on the volunteer roster so that this weeks event can take place.

Time keeper
Finish tokens
Marshal at 3 ways

Looking forward to hearing from some keen volunteers either new or existing.
Much appreciation in advance to those who fill these positions.

See you all bright and early Saturday.

RDs Jo and Dave.
