THAT’S A WRAP 🦏

It wasn’t the way we wanted our Seniors season to end, with the Reserves falling to Bayswater by 9 points. Despite the hurt of the loss still very fresh, there is still plenty to be proud of.

A 14-win season for the Reserves is a tremendous achievement and a reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment shown by our players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and supporters throughout the year.

To everyone who played a part in making this season what it was - THANK YOU. Football clubs are built by the people behind them, and we’re grateful for the amazing people who contribute week after week. It’s the quality people involved in our club that make it the best football club in Perth.

While not all results went our way, the foundations are strong and the future is very bright. The season may be over, but the work continues. We’ll take the lessons from 2026, regroup, and come back bigger, stronger, and ready for the challenge in 2027.

With the exciting addition of our new clubrooms on the horizon, there’s plenty to look forward to as the Forrestfield Rhinos continue to grow.

Good luck to our Year 9’s this Sunday, bring that flag back to Forrestfield!

On Sunday, as our Year 9 team battled for their place in the Grand Final, the sideline was packed with parents, siblings, aunties, uncles, grandparents, friends, committee members, and players from both our junior and senior teams.

It was a powerful reminder of what we are building here at Forrestfield Football Club — a club where everyone belongs and everyone supports each other.

We are one club, one family — standing together through the ups and downs, celebrating the wins, supporting each other through the losses, and sharing every moment along the way.

This is what being part of Forrestfield Football Club is all about. 🦏

What an incredible night for our Year 9 boys! 🦏

They were lucky enough to have Fremantle Dockers legend Roger Hayden join them for training tonight!

With 128 games for the Dockers and an All Australian selection in 2007, Roger has plenty of experience and wisdom to share. The boys absolutely loved listening, learning and soaking up every bit of advice he had to offer.

A huge thank you to Roger for taking the time to come down and join us — especially in the pouring rain! 🌧️

It was a fantastic experience for the boys and one they certainly won’t forget!

SEMI FINAL | DO-OR-DIE 👊

It's all on the line this Saturday as we face Bayswater in a must-win Semi Final.

The stakes couldn't be higher. One team. One game. One goal.

The boys are ready to leave it all on the field, and we need our supporters behind us. Get down and support the boys as they battle for a spot in the preliminary final. 🔴🔵

QUALIFYING FINAL WRAP-UP 🗞️

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the result we were chasing on Saturday, with the Reserves falling to Baldivis by 11 points.

Baldivis came out firing and stretched their lead to five goals in the second quarter. Full credit to our boys, who never gave in and fought hard right until the final siren. We controlled most of the play in our front half during the second half but couldn’t quite make the most of opportunities.

The good news is that our hard work throughout the season has earned us a second chance. We’ll head back to Baldivis this weekend to take on Bayswater in a do-or-die Semi Final.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip down on Saturday. Your support means so much, and we hope to see plenty of you back there again this weekend!
