Great Lakes Pearl Dragons Great Lakes Pearl Dragons Inc. is a dragon boating club on the mid north coast of NSW. Paddle for sport or fitness! We would rather be on the lake!

Great Lakes Pearl Dragons, bringing the thrill of dragon boating to Forster, Tuncurry and the surrounding Great Lakes area. We offer training sessions with knowledgeable, experienced coaches and sweeps on the beautiful Wallis Lake most days of the week. We work hard to build on our fitness, learn the correct technique and to be the best we can. If you would like to add a water sport to your fitness regime, we offer 5 complimentary paddles. Further opportunities to coach, drum, sweep, compete at regional regattas, metro, state, national or overseas. Message us and our Club Captain will contact you to arrange a paddle.

14 days to go before racing begins at the 2026 15th IDBF Club Crew World Championships at Liyu Lake, Hualien! Team arrival and training kicks off 29 August, with racing across Premier, Senior, Junior, 24U/University and Paradragon divisions from 1–6 September.
