Well done girls....Exceptional First Game!!
Good morning!
AGM is tonight. For those interested in helping out with the club, it’s not too late to get a nomination form to me. And the few parents who have nominated yourselves, don’t forget to jump onto the zoom meeting tonight at 7pm.
TRAINING UPDATE:
Good morning all.
We are hopefully in the final stages of getting permission from council to commence our tenancy and therefore resume training. We are working towards June 1st as our return date, particularly given the announcements from Dan Andrews this morning and the ever changing guidelines we are to adhere to.
We are working hard behind the scenes, educating coaches, working on training schedules and we are still in the process of securing all required sanitisation equipment. We will communicate an official date once we have it, so for now, there is still to be no training until further notice.....we are getting close though!
Our club is also required to nominate a COVID-SAFE Officer that can be responsible for ensuring all appropriate protocols are adopted and implemented by each Team at all times. It is essential we have someone that can ensure we are adhering to the Framework and Guidelines at all times. We will work with the individual to ensure they have access to the appropriate checklists, training and education resources to perform this important role. Whilst acting in this role the individual will be covered under the Community Football Public Liability insurance policy.
It is important to note though, that it is also the responsibility of everyone involved in football to follow all health protocols and guidelines to ensure our game can return safely.
We are asking for a volunteer to undertake this role, so if you are interested, please contact the club via email: [email protected]

RETURN TO TRAINING UPDATE:
Good afternoon all,
On the back of AFL Victoria’s announcement over the weekend together with AFL South East’s guidelines that were released today, we have received the following from the Frankston City Council:
“As you are aware AFL South East has just released Return to Play guidelines for all AFL clubs following AFL Victoria’s Statement yesterday. Council will need to work through these guidelines as to their implications for the club’s tenancy and access to grounds for training under all relevant restrictions. Therefore we kindly request that club training is not permitted until your tenancy is issued.”
As previously communicated, the club have many logistical issues to work through with not only AFL South East but also the local council. We hope to have further updates to communicate later this week.
Thanks once again for your continued patience during these uncertain times.
