This is what belief looks like in action ππ€ After just ONE season, Frankston YCW Stonecats Womenβs Cricket has been recognised at a state level - winning Women & Girls Initiative of the Year and finishing Runners Up for Technology & Media Initiative of the Year. What started as a βcrazy ideaβ has quickly become real proof that inclusive, community-led sport changes lives. From one ground, one team and a whole lot of heart - weβve built something powerful and weβre only just getting started. For season 26/27 weβre planning a second Senior Womenβs side, our very first Girls U13 team and continued growth across juniors, seniors and club leadership. We believe in backing people, creating opportunity for ALL and building a club where community comes first. If youβve been thinking about joining a truly inclusive, proactive, family-first club - this is your sign. We are now recruiting Senior Women and Men players, Junior Girls and Boys, Junior Coaches and new Committee Members. The time to join is NOW - contact us today ππ€ Herald Sun The Age Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association Cricket VictoriaVictoria Paul Edbrooke MP Jodie Belyea MPMP Cricket Australia Frankston Council

ππ€ All after only 1 season ... imagine what we can do in 3 π±
In a massive night for the ENTIRE Frankston YCW Cricket Club, our vision towards a fully inclusive club for everyone took another step forward and was recognised at a state level.
In just our first season of having a Senior Women's program, we were the winner of:
Women & Girls Initiative of the Year
..and runners up in:
Technology & Media Initiative of the Year (aka. Stonecatswomen on Instagram) π₯π₯
Thank you to Cricket Victoria and all of their amazing support staff with the assistance during the season and also for hosting such an empowering event last night, which showcases the power of people - the right people - in moving the beautiful sport of cricket forward in our community and country.
This is only the beginning .... we are planning on having in 26/27':
- a second Senior Women's Side π±ββοΈ
- our first ever GIRLS U13's side π§
This started as just "a crazy idea" that some traditionalists said wouldn't work ... we are proud to provide the proof of how wrong this mindset was/is!
And all from a little ol' club with only 1 ground to call home π½
With unconditional love and support of and for ALL players (Men, Womens, Girls & Boys), members and supporters - we have 100% conviction and belief that the new direction of our great club is the right one ... and the best is still to come π
Stay tuned ... we are actively recruiting for the following for season 26/27':
- Senior Women Players (1st & 2nd XI)
- Senior Men Players (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th XI)
- Junior Girl Players (U13's)
- Junior Boy Players (Woolworths Blast, U10's, U12's, U14's, U16's & U18's)
- Junior Coaches & New Club Committee Members π€©π₯³

ππ€ The Big Show Returns π
Words cannot describe the excitement levels we had when Cal Bradford informed us that he was coming back to the Cattery for Season 26/27 π±
A devastating top order bat and elite fielder, Cal brings an electric skill set and attitude to our squad ... plus ... he's just a legend human π
Welcome home Cal ππ€

ππ€ No Back-To-Back 2's flag this time π±
Our 2nd XI fought hard til the very end however were just not good enough for an extremely disciplined Mt Martha Cricket Club bowling attack - very impressive young stock of bowlers well done Reds and all the best next week in the GF π
Our own younger stock of Stonecat players gained some invaluable finals experience and will be all the better for it next season to go again.
Thank you to our loyal and loving supporters for coming down both Saturday and Sunday - it meant the world to see you all on the hill in the yellow & black π»ππ€
