✨ Meet our Cert III in Assistant Dance Teaching students! 💙

We caught up with our six students to hear about their experiences completing their Certificate III, what they’ve learnt along the way, and how the program has helped them grow as both dancers and assistant teachers.

We’re so proud of their dedication, growth and passion for dance, and love being able to support the next generation of dance teachers right here at Dance Central! 🩰💫

✨ 2027 COMPETITION TEAM AUDITIONS ✨

Auditions for our 2027 Competition Teams are coming up in Week 4 of Term 4! 💙

A few important things to know before audition week:

💙 All existing Performance Group (PG) students are required to audition.
💙 New students wishing to audition must email us to confirm their attendance.
💙 If you cannot attend your scheduled audition, please contact us to arrange an alternative time.
💙 Students moving up an age category are generally required to attend both their normal class and their audition. Exceptions apply to older students sitting exams and existing PG14 and PG16 students moving up an age category, who only need to attend their new team audition.

Following auditions, parents will receive an email outlining the outcome and next steps for their child’s placement.

📌 COMPULSORY MEETING
There will be a compulsory meeting at the start of Term 1 for all new Competition Team families. Existing families are also highly encouraged to attend.

For the full 2027 Competition Team audition schedule and all the important information, please refer to the attached 2027 Competition Team Information Sheet or visit our new Competition Teams page.

We can’t wait to see our dancers take the next step in their dance journey! 💫💙

We need to take a moment to celebrate our incredible Shaynee! 💙

Across this competition, Shaynee’s choreography brought home an AMAZING FOUR PERPETUAL TROPHIES 🏆🏆🏆🏆

And even more special… our 16U Jazz and 14U Hip Hop have now won their perpetual trophies BACK TO BACK — two years in a row! 🔥

Shaynee, your creativity, versatility and ability to bring out the absolute best in our dancers is something very special. From Jazz to Hip Hop and everything in between, you continue to create routines that are fresh, exciting and unmistakably YOU.
