🥋 Congratulations to our RJA athletes! 🥇🥈🥉

A huge congratulations to Shant, who took home the gold medal after a very tough fight! 🥇 André earned silver after losing the final by just one advantage, and Jamie secured bronze after facing a very experienced competitor in the semifinals.

We’re incredibly proud of all three of you for stepping onto the mats and representing RJA Jiu Jitsu so well! 💛🖤

Competition is about much more than medals. It’s an opportunity to face your fears, challenge yourself, build confidence, develop discipline and learn how to perform under pressure — lessons that go far beyond the mats.

The medals are great, but the growth behind them is what truly matters. Every competition is another opportunity to learn, improve and become a stronger athlete and person.

🥇🥇 DOUBLE GOLD FOR OLLIE!

Today, our 13-year-old warrior Ollie travelled all the way to the Central Coast to challenge himself once again, and came home with Gold in both Gi and No-Gi! 🔥

What makes this even more special is the incredible consistency Ollie has shown throughout the year. He has practically won everything he has entered this year, and every competition has been another opportunity for him to learn, grow and test himself.

Ollie, you are a great example of what happens when hard work, consistency, courage and a great attitude come together.

RJA WINTER CUP!! 🥇🥇🥇🥈🥈🥈🥉🥉🥉

Just wanted to say how proud I am of every single one of the kids today.

To be honest, just stepping onto the mat to face another child they’ve never met before is already a huge win. That takes courage, especially for kids.

Some won, some lost, but that doesn’t change how proud I am of all of them. What they learned today about discipline, resilience, courage, and dealing with both winning and losing is priceless. There isn’t a school or university in the world that can teach these lessons the way competition does.

As a coach and parents, of course we love seeing them win, but what matters most is seeing them grow. They all left today stronger than when they arrived.

Now we get back to training, fix our mistakes, keep improving, and in two months we’ll do it all again. I’m already looking forward to seeing how much they’ll have improved by then.

Thank you to all the parents for bringing your kids and supporting them today. You should all be very proud. So should they. 👏🥋
