Just wanted to say how proud I am of every single one of the kids today.

To be honest, just stepping onto the mat to face another child they’ve never met before is already a huge win. That takes courage, especially for kids.

Some won, some lost, but that doesn’t change how proud I am of all of them. What they learned today about discipline, resilience, courage, and dealing with both winning and losing is priceless. There isn’t a school or university in the world that can teach these lessons the way competition does.

As a coach and parents, of course we love seeing them win, but what matters most is seeing them grow. They all left today stronger than when they arrived.

Now we get back to training, fix our mistakes, keep improving, and in two months we’ll do it all again. I’m already looking forward to seeing how much they’ll have improved by then.

Thank you to all the parents for bringing your kids and supporting them today. You should all be very proud. So should they. 👏🥋
