Yesterday a few members from our club gave up their Saturdays to volunteer at a Bunnings sausage sizzle in Frenches Forest. Huge thanks to everyone who made it happen and to everyone who came along and supported!

What a fantastic week in Vancouver for our two Warringah Aquatic Swim Club swimmers representing their countries on the international stage!

Luke had an outstanding meet, racing in 4 swims and producing 4 amazing PBs, along with taking home 2 Bronze medals in the 800FR and the 1500FR! ๐ฅ๐ฅ A brilliant performance against some of the best junior swimmers in the Pacific.

Zavier had a huge program, competing in 10 individual events, 2 relays and earning 2 finals appearances. An incredible workload and fantastic experience at an international championship!

The entire Warringah community is behind our very own Gemma Sellick as she makes her Australian Dolphins debut at the 2026 Commonwealth Games on Sunday night (AEST)! ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฌ
Gemma will take to the blocks on Sunday in the S9 100m Backstroke and on Monday in the SB8 100m Breaststroke, proudly representing Australia in green and gold after years of dedication, resilience and hard work.
What an incredible achievement, for young 16 year old Gemma. We couldn't be prouder!

Tomorrow from 11:00am, our Warringah Aquatic team kicks off their 2026 Australian Swimming Trials campaign at SOPAC.
Months of dedication, early mornings, hard work and commitment have led to this moment, and we couldnโt be prouder of our athletes representing Warringah on the national stage.
Join us in cheering them on as they take to the blocks and give it their all. Whether theyโre chasing personal bests, finals, or Australian team selection, the entire Warringah family is behind them every stroke of the way.

This week, 16 of our athletes will take on the countryโs best at the Australian Swimming Trials at SOPAC, competing in an incredible 32 events from 8โ13 June.
From early mornings and endless kilometres in the pool to the determination shown every day at training, each swimmer has earned their place on this stage through hard work, resilience and commitment.
Representing Warringah at the highest level of Australian swimming is an achievement to be proud of, and we couldnโt be more excited to watch our athletes race.
To our swimmers: trust your preparation, embrace the moment, and enjoy every second of the experience. Weโre all behind you and canโt wait to see what you achieve.
