If you told me 11 years ago that the little idea in my Notes app would one day become a 3-time GOLD trophy-winning business, I would have laughed.

But here we are. 🏆🏆🏆

An idea. A whole lot of hard work. A few tears. Plenty of “what the hell am I doing?” moments… and a decade of believing in what Platinum Body could become.

Three GOLD wins later, I’m feeling pretty damn proud of that little idea I once typed into my phone. 🩷

Sometimes you just have to start before you have it all figured out.

🏆 I WON SERVICE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR 🏆

I’m still trying to get my head around saying those words...

FIRST PLACE. SERVICE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR.

11 years ago, Platinum Body started in my garage because I wanted a place where women, especially busy mums, could come and exercise without having to choose between looking after themselves and looking after their kids.

It started small. Really small.

A garage, a few classes, a big idea and a whole lot of determination.

From there it grew into school halls, community centres and eventually my own studio.

And through every stage, one thing has stayed the same:

SERVING WOMEN.

I’ve always been happiest when I’m helping someone else. I was fortunate enough to serve my country in the Army, and now I get to serve women in a completely different way.

Helping a woman walk through our doors when she feels nervous.

Watching her find her confidence.

Seeing her get stronger.

Watching friendships form and a community grow.

Reminding women that they matter too.

That is what Platinum Body has always been about.

So to stand on that stage in Sydney and hear Platinum Body called as the winner of Service Business of the Year...

Well, bloody hell. 😭🩷

I’m incredibly proud.

Proud of how far this little idea has come.

Proud of the women who have trusted me with a part of their journey.

Proud of the incredible women who work alongside me.

And incredibly grateful for every single person who has helped make Platinum Body what it is today.

11 years in. Still serving. Still growing. Still just getting started.
