There are races and there are RACES!

The Group 1 $150,000 VICTORIA DERBY is of those RACES.

How fortunate are we to have now won three of the 3yo classics.

DYNAMITEDAN followed Petracca (2023) and Fox Dan (2025) onto the honour roll at Melton on Saturday night.

Our primary focus was on Brooklyn Dan for much of the race, but then from nowhere Dynamitedan appeared on the scene and swept to victory.

All plaudits to James Herbertson for a great drive.

A winner of his first two starts as a 2yo in a clean sweep of the APG series at Menangle, Dynamitedan now has five wins in 13 starts and taken his earnings past $200,000 with trainer Emma Stewart.

WILLOWS GIRL also ran a great race to finish second to Bettor Beach in the Group 1 $150,000 Victoria Oaks, chasing hard all the way.

That’s the way to do it 💪

SCHWARZ wins the TEAM ZAV PACE at Geelong on Saturday night, running a mile rate of 1:56.2 for Team Zav.

The 4yo rounded the field mid-race to find the lead on the way to his sixth career win from 12 starts.

Schwarz has come on in leaps and bounds since getting his first win at Geelong in May, including four wins on end in Tasmania.

It provided some consolation for not having a starter in the Geelong Pacing Cup, with Fox Dan being scratched.
