Wednesday Wanderers Monthly Midweek Ride Details - 17-06-26.

1st Meeting of the month is on tonight (09/06).

Just a reminder that the 1st Meeting of the month is on tonight (09/06). 7:30pm at the South Geelong Club rooms.

So come along for all your Club Permit & Membership renewal needs, while catching up with mates.

Also the lucky member door prize is primed and ready to go off.

Make sure you come along so you can collect if your name is drawn at random.

2nd General Meeting of the month is on this Tuesday Night (26/05).

Just a reminder that the 2nd General Meeting of the month is on this Tuesday Night (26/05). 7:30pm at the South Geelong Club rooms.

This meeting is going to be a big one as the lucky member door prize has reached the "SUPER JACKPOT LEVEL" !, which means the prize must go off at the meeting,

The wheel will continue to be spun until a member present is drawn at random.

Monthly Club ride Sunday 24th May 2026.

A dozen club members left the clubrooms at 9:30am for a fantastic run (No wind, no rain and no traffic) travelling thru Deans Marsh, Yeo, Karwarren and stopping at the Gellibrand River General Store.
As the group was riding into Gellibrand the temperature dropped a degree or two so the group wisely took the opportunity to reheat with a fantastic selection of Hot Pies, cakes and hot drinks, after a good chat the group split with half continuing home via the Ocean Road and the other half returning via Beeac, Ombersley, Winchelsea, Inverleigh back to Geelong.

Excellent riding conditions were had today.

1st Monday of the month – Red Plate Ride

On the first Monday Red Plate Ride of the month we include old and small bikes to provide an opportunity for members who have them to use them on a slower and shorter ride than usual.

We have been asked a few times about including cars as well. Cars are welcome on any Monday but specifically including them on these rides might also encourage those who have cars to come along also.

We will possibly use slightly different routes but ending at the same destination for all to catch up for a friendly chat over a cuppa. The only stipulation is that it is a Red Plate Vehicle.

Monday 1/6/2026 is planned for The Anglesea General Store, assembling in the car park on the opposite side of the road.

Wednesday Wanderers mid-month Lunch Ride Report - 13th May 2026

20 well rugged up motorcycle riders turned up at the clubrooms this morning for a chat and cuppa before stands were up at 10:00am, we then wandered around the peninsula in near perfect conditions albeit with a fog that limited the bay/beach views, the group stopped at the Pt Lonsdale foreshore to stretch our legs and spend a penny or two.

We regrouped at the Rip Lookout but had nothing to see due to the fog we then headed off to the Mt Moriac Hotel for lunch via Ocean Grove,13th Beach, Torquay, Bells Beach, Moriac in clear air with the fog clearing just as we left. It was an event free run all the way to the pub with limited traffic.

There were a lot of empty plates and glasses and great conversations during lunch, the feed back I received from the group was 'We are blessed and had a great day'

Next mid-month lunch ride will be on Wed 17th June 2026 details will be posted early June.
