Round three of the Victorian Country series took the team to Wimmera Kart Club. We welcomed back Mark Domaschenz after missing the last round. Also special appearances from team principle Danny Richert and European superkart Champion Jordan Ford.
Tag heavy saw a strong field and after claiming podium finishes the last two rounds, Glenn Croxford qualified P3 ahead of Richert P4 and Kris Janczuk not far behind in P11. Tough wheel to wheel racing all weekend and fighting for top spot, Richert finished in P3 Croxford in P4 and Janczuk in P7. All three drivers showing speed to battle for the top spot.
Tag light saw a big field yet again. Showing pace all weekend, Domaschenz qualified P3, Anthony Mrhar P10 and Ford recorded no time with transponder issues and was forced to start at the rear. After all drivers worked their way to the top 6 for the final, first corner tangles saw Mrhar finish 8th, Ford 4th and Domaschenz took the win for the teams first round win.
It’s been a fantastic weekend of results across the board, starting to see the strengths of the Energy Corse kart.

Our first race meet has been a success with great results for all of our drivers !
Tag Heavy Glenn Croxford put his Energy on poll position. He finished second in all races showing great pace with Bjorn unfortunately having a dnf with mechanical issues while Kris Janczuk finished a strong 8th after starting final in last!
Tag light a Alex Barallon qualified 4th, Domaschenz 5th in his return to karting after 3 years out of the seat and Anthony MrHar in 8th!
Heat 1 Barallon took the lead and stayed there while Domashenz finished 3rd and MrHar 6th
Heat 2 Barallon lead from the start and won with Domaschenz right behind and MrHar in 4th!
Final Barallon finished 2nd after leading most the race with Domashenz in 3rd and MrHar in 5th!
James Stewart showed great pace all weekend but suffered from track position but showed he had the pace in the final of Tag R Medium!
Amazing effort by all and to have the karts at the front in every class we are in is a great start and we are all full on positive ENERGY!
