🏈 BIG CONGRATULATIONS! 🏈
Huge shoutout to our very own Geelong Buccaneers U18 quarterback Jordy Wrochna on his incredible achievement to be recruited to the elite football program at Cathedral College High School in San Diego, California 🇦🇺🇺🇸
Jordy joins an exceptionally small group of Australian and international athletes who have been recruited as Quarterbacks into the US football system.
Watching Jordy grow and develop—from the 11-year-old who first joined our flag football competition, to stepping up as a 12-year-old playing in our U16s, and ultimately co-captaining our U18 team—has been amazing. This opportunity hasn’t been the result of luck, but is a testament to Jordy’s dedication, effort, and commitment to becoming a better football player and young man.
Jordy heads to the US in August to commence his Sophomore year (Year 10).
We couldn’t be prouder to see you chase your dream and represent the Geelong Buccaneers on an international stage!
