Our Women on Water Sailing Development Program Returns For Winter - Royal Geelong Yacht Club Join our Geelong women sailing program this winter. A welcoming series for women and men to learn, connect and build confidence on the water.

Looking to get into sailing, build confidence on the water, or simply meet a great group of people at the Club? Our Women on Water Sailing Development Program is back for Winter 2026.

Designed as a safe, welcoming and supportive space, Women on Water is all about learning at your own pace, asking questions, building skills and feeling comfortable on the water. Whether you’re completely new to sailing or looking to grow your confidence, this program is for you.

Across seven relaxed Saturday morning sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of sailing, safety, navigation, weather and racing, with two on-water RS21 sailing experiences included.

The full 7-week program costs $160 for non-members and $80 for members to join. Single sessions can also be purchased.

After a tough day of racing it was Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club who came out on top πŸ†

It was great to have a mix of young talent and veterans fighting it out over the weekend.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Open Team Racing Victorian Championship!

It was a tough day out on the water today with a very light breeze making racing challenging for sailors and race management.

Despite the challenging conditions we managed to finish off the Round Robin Series and what we could of the Finals Series to crown the 2026 State Champion πŸ†

Congratulations to Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club for taking out the win!

Thank you to all the sailors, race management and volunteers for making this event possible.

The umpires were kept busy at Day 1 of the Opean Team Racing Victorian Championship 🚩
