Grand Slam ~ Part Two

The epic weekend that was ~ part one.

The last week of Teams League is already here, time is flying by!

Be sure to get down to Sawyers after, to celebrate an absolutely awesome few weeks of competition!

Everyone welcome and encouraged to come along, the more the merrier.

*Finals are coming in hot next week, whether you are playing or not, pencil it in!

It was an absolute pleasure hosting our friends from Central Highlands for our second interclub session yesterday. We went in hopeful that we could pull off the win after Central Highlands won the first rubber last year. Alas we came up a little short…. Central Highlands played exceptionally well and had our measure. All the games were played in great spirits and fun. Well done all!

So proud of our Geelong players - you represented our club with pride, passion and fairness.

We look forward to rubber number three towards the end of this year!

Huge thanks to Hannah and her team - you’re all so friendly and we loved having you playing our home ground.

Finally to Pat - you are awesome. Great organisation, competition format and app! Thanks Leonie and Kerrie for your incredible support on the day.

AUSTRALIAN MASTERS CUP (AMC) 2026 - EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

For those GPC members that participated in the 2025 AMC or players over 50 years of age wishing to participate:

GPC has made the decision to NOT participate in the 2026 AMC. However Torquay Pickleball Club HAS registered with Pickleball Australia to compete.

Torquay Pickleball Club are seeking expressions of interest from players to compete  – for more information on AMC, please visit: https://www.pickleballaus.org/amc

The competition will run for 10 weeks – players will have to play a minimum of 8 out of 10 matches to qualify for the finals. The competition will start on 13 February and run through until 8 May.

The regionals will take place on 13/14 June 2026. The States will take place on 25/26 July 2
026 and Nationals on 29/30 August 2026.

There will be no registration fee but a session fee of $10 per game
