Where do we get our protein? As a Vegan Strength Coach, I am constantly asked this question.
These very simple pictured meals consist of Leggo’s pulse pasta, Birdseye frozen veggies (broccoli, green peas, carrots, and corn), Dolmio tomato and basil pasta sauce, and sprinkled with nutritional yeast.
Each plate of this meal provided 41.2 grams of protein, making up 28.8% of the 2391 kJ meal. Along with the protein is plenty of fibre, deficient in all animal foods.
All major health organisations recommend increasing our intake of legumes and beans, vegetables, whole grains, fruits and fibre. Plant based whole foods abundantly achieves this goal. There is no need for animal foods to support healthy nutrition.
This page shall provide examples of plant only meals that optimally provide us with our nutrient requirements. We shall provide awareness of how to meet our macro and micro nutrient requirements with plants. Operating out of a Weightlifting and Athletic Development gym, we recommend plant meals to support our training.
Plant sourced foods and products reduce cruelty, are more environmentally friendly and sustainable, and improve health and performance outcomes. Hi fellow Vegans. Sorry we have been so quiet. COVID shutdowns throughout last year impacted us all. We shall recommence Vegan posts soon on and would love vegan youth aged 10-18 to take our offer in our Weightlifting and athletic development programs.
The Strength Academy is reawakening following COVID-19 restrictions. We shall recommence our public forum with our first competition in 13 months on Saturday 27th March, 2021. We have attractive opportunities available this week for any Geelong Youth who wish to join in and have a go at lifting and athletic development programs. Hi all. The Strength Academy runs Weightlifting, Youth Athletic Development, Sports Speed and Strength Programs and Strength for Health Programs.
Vegan Strength and Health is our strength group for Vegans.
We offer comprehensive testing programs to measure and quantify results.
All programs individually assigned but performed in group format.
We offer age appropriate programs for all ages.
The head coach is strictly Vegan and one of the most experienced and knowledgeable Strength coaches in Geelong. He promotes Vegan nutrition and practices exclusively.

Hi everyone. We have been quiet for some time but are ready to go again. We have moved venues and are ready to start a new group in September. With our new venue we also have new testing equipment to demonstrate the effects of your program.
Are you interested in strength, speed, bodyweight management, bone health and general health?
We have a vegan strength group training Monday Wednesday and Friday nights from 7 to 8.
Groups are restricted to 10. Inclusion involves a $100 joining fee and $30 per week paid at the start of each month ($130 per month).
Training consists of strength based exercises. The $100 joining fee includes all initial testing and program development.
The testing includes body composition, posture, movement assessment and strength.
Your program is individualised and tailored to your needs.
Nutritional advice is provided, with weight loss or gain recommendations and dietary assessment provided.
Every 12 weeks we reassess to demonstrate the effects of your program.
Highly qualified and experienced expert coaching. The service is as good as any available.
I can help you with your vegan lifestyle, bodyweight management, athletic development and strength. Your body composition assessments will demonstrate increases in bone mass and muscle, with reduction in body fat. Your successes will be added to a data bank that demonstrates the effectiveness of low fat vegan nutrition for body composition management and strength increase.

Hi everyone. The Geelong Weightlifting Centre is offering youth Weightlifting program, and we are looking to get young Vegans involved. We shall measure height, weight, body composition changes and performance to show that Plant based nutrition and strength training are fantastic for the growth and development for children. We shall publish the results. Lets have every vegan kid grow up strong and athletic.
