Congratulations to Alex Code on reaching the incredible milestone of 100 Senior Games for Harcourt.

Alex returned to Harcourt in the senior ranks as a coach in 2020, and since then his professionalism, unquestionable commitment and ability to connect with people have been key drivers in the club’s sustained success.

In 2021, Alex coached the club through an undefeated, pandemic-affected season, resulting in Harcourt being awarded the Minor Premiership.

In 2022, Alex co-coached the club to its first premiership in 15 years, before playing a key role in the club’s undefeated premiership season in 2023.

There’s not many jobs or tasks around the club that Alex hasn’t taken on. From coaching and playing to the countless jobs behind the scenes, Alex has always been willing to roll up his sleeves and do whatever is needed for the betterment of Harcourt.

Alex is a true role model for the Harcourt Football Netball Club. His leadership, dedication and willingness to put the club and others first set an example for everyone around him.
And while Alex has been an outstanding coach and footballer, those who know him best will tell you that he is an even better person, husband and dad. It’s those qualities, his character, generosity and genuine care for the people around him, that make him such a valued and respected member of not only the club but the Harcourt community.
