Following on from our earlier post, we also wanted to recognise a few more Bears who were in action over the long weekend at the annual Ballarat Basketball Tournament.

A quick snapshot of just a few of our Bears in action over the long weekend at the annual Ballarat Basketball Tournament! 💪🐻

From players hitting the court to coaches leading from the sidelines, it was fantastic to see so many Try Boys representatives competing, developing their skills, and enjoying the tournament experience.

🏀 Club Spirit On Display 🏀

Last night our U19 Division 1 Girls found themselves very short on numbers, but thanks to the willingness and support of others, the team was still able to take the court.

A huge thank you to U14 players Esme (Astrid’s sister) and Jemima (Sarah’s sister) for kindly stepping up and helping out! 👏

While the result didn’t go our way, the spirit in which the game was played was something special to witness — showing what junior sport is all about: teamwork, support, and simply getting out there and having a go.

A special mention also goes to City Basketball Club for helping make this possible and embracing the spirit of the game.

These are the moments that remind us what community sport is really about ❤️🖤
