As a local not-for-profit club, we at Geelong Cross Country Club share your passion for running and encourage you to continue on this journey. That's why if you are not currently a member, we'd like to invite you to join our club for a COMPLIMENTARY RUN as an invitational runner and try us out!! To claim your 'for a limited time' complimentary run, as announced yesterday- keep your Half Marathon or 5 km Run bib from Sunday and present it to us at one of our Sunday morning races starting next Sunday April 14th until June 30th. You'll find the same friendly atmosphere as at our club runs.

We offer a range of distances and scenic locations around the Geelong region and our club's handicapping system caters for all levels of fitness and experience. Check out this years program here

Events 2024 - Geelong Cross Country Club Course Gradings

⭐️Some awesome times from our winners yesterday! We hope you managed to achieve your own goals.

With slightly warm but otherwise near perfect running conditions, Harry Norman was fastest male over the 21.1 km, in the outstanding time of 66 mins 47 secs, adding to Harry's amazing times over numerous other distances.

"The Geelong Half Marathon was a fantastic event. I have been building up training for the upcoming XCR season and the half marathon was a perfect opportunity to test myself over a distance I had not raced prior to this weekend. The course was fast, flat and protected from the wind which ensured for great racing!"

Fastest female was Tokyo Olympian, Ellie Pashley, in 73 mins 4 secs (a course record). In her post race interview she echoed Harry's sentiments about the race conditions and was thrilled to have won with a course record to boot. There were also some very fast times in the 5 km Run, with Ashley Ferguson fastest male, taking only 16 mins 10 secs, and Dee-Ann Dawson the fastest female in an excellent 18 mins 40 secs.
