• As always, there are the playHQ and system fees that we do not control that are payable as well in addition to those costs.

• Juniors playing seniors still register via their relevant junior link. They will be permitted for Senior Cricket at a later date. PLEASE REGISTER VIA THE CORECT LINK

• Family Discount: A 10% discount will be applicable for members whereby there are two or more people from the same immediate family registering to play.

• Payment Plan: If you are unable to pay the club fee upfront, we do offer payment plans that allow you to pay zero upfront (only the playHQ and system fees).

Another Baby Magpie joins the Nest

A massive Congratulations to Sam Mellington and partner Narelle (Nella) on the safe arrival of baby boy Bodhi over the weekend. The family are now settling into home life as a family of 4. Congrats Guys!

The North Geelong Cricket Club would like to advise our members and supporters that Women’s Head Coach Mike Chapman has made the difficult decision to step down from his coaching role due to personal reasons.
Mike has been an integral part of the success and growth of our women’s program and has made an outstanding contribution to the club over many years.

During his tenure, Mike has helped guide our teams to multiple A Grade premierships as well as an E Grade premiership, creating a strong and successful culture that has become a hallmark of our women’s program. If he wasnt busy enough he also coached our Under 17 boys side as well.

On behalf of everyone at North Geelong Cricket Club, we sincerely thank Mike for his commitment, passion and leadership. His impact on the development of our players and the success of the program will be felt for many years to come.

While stepping away from his coaching responsibilities, Mike will remain a valued member of the club community and will continue supporting the club through his involvement as a parent, with his daughter Millie continuing to be part of the program.

Looking ahead to the 2026/27 season, we are pleased to announce that current Co-Coach Danielle Scoble will assume the role of Women’s Head Coach. Danielle has been a key part of the program’s success and is well positioned to lead the next chapter of women’s cricket at North Geelong.

The club will now begin building a coaching team around Danielle to ensure our players continue to receive excellent support, development opportunities and leadership both on and off the field.

We look forward to an exciting season ahead and thank all members, players and supporters for their ongoing support of our women’s program.

Meet the New Magpies Again

We met the first round of new players, now let's take a look at the 2nd batch.

Jack Sykes

Townville in England may ring a bell to a few of our members. It was the home of Jack Hughes. Well, Jacks all grown up and got a family now, so he's doing the next best thing. Sending one of his club mates along to play cricket at the Nest. Jack is 23 years old and has been at Townville for most of his cricket. In fact, his older brother Charlie was out here not that long ago and filled in for our lower grades one game before showing the guys a good night out on the town. At least this time around, Jack is planning to spend the entire 6 months with us as he visits Australia.

An opening Bat, Jack has made 518 runs this English summer already for the Townville, mostly in the 2nd XI. Just a few weeks ago, he piled on 203 not out, and to back that up just last week, he made another 95 not out. After spending a few years at Methley CC, injuries got in the way of his cricket, so it's good to see him finally fully fit and firing.

Let's hope that continues when he gets out here, on and off the pitch as just like his brother and Jack Hughes. He's coming with a reputation to uphold on the social scene. Either way, we cant way to see what Jack can do with bat in hand when he arrives. Welcome, Jack!!

Meet the New Magpies Again

We met the first round of new players, and now let's meet a few more.

Ajay Mada

4 Seasons ago, Ajay Mada walked in off the street, wanting to play some cricket close to home. He played a majority of the year in the 2s despite cracking into the 1s on a couple of occasions. An opening bowler, Ajay, took 23 wickets for the year, including 2 in the 1sts. He was also a handy batting who made 165 runs during the season, which was capped off with a premiership medal for the 2nds at the end of the season. With a month to go in the year and with his working moving to Ballarat, Ajay made the tough decision to move full time to Ballarat and play for Mount Clear. Home of the McKee's.

The next 2 seasons, Ajay would give his all to the Mounties. He took 67 wickets, including a standout year in 2023/24, which saw him take 45 wickets and play in Ballarat's country week side. He would also be awarded with the bowling Aggreagate in the Ballarat 1st XI competition. His 2024 season kept getting better as he helped win the Ballarat T20 competition and represented Team India in the Melbourne Renegades Champions League. He would back that up with another solid year the following year before having last year off due to injury and moving back to Geelong.

Welcome back, Ajay. We’re all looking forward to seeing you pick up where you left things off in the Black and White!

As of right now, all products marked as 'made to order' are pre-order products and are subject to order cut-offs, which are the 1st -7th of each month. 

All orders will be delivered in one delivery. If you have ordered both pre-order and stock apparel, all items will be delivered together when the pre-order apparel is ready and straight to your door.

Good news - all current apparel and playing kits are still ok as they have replicated current designs.

Please note.. the club will have limited stock, so if you do need new apparel, get to it!!
