Good job
The Green Spine is an award-winning project, and a part of ensuring Geelong has a world-class city centre.
That’s why the Government has declared the Mercer, Malop and Garden Street corridor under state control.
The decision gives the Government the authority to protect the work already done and complete the project.
It’s all about delivering a better transport network for Geelong.

Delighted the state government has stepped in to save the green spine in Malop Street. We agree with Lisa Neville MP that its an important part of the Revitalising Central Geelong Action Plan and to fulfilling the community’s vision for a more liveable, more resilient, people-focused successful city.
