I PROTEST BY BEING HUMAN.

I protest for trusting ourselves.
For feeling and recognising our innate wisdom.
For remembering we already know how to love,
connect,
help each other,
fall apart,
and find our way back.

I protest for our GLORIOUS ability to f**k it up.
To get it wrong.
To hurt.
To learn.
To change.
To forgive.
To begin again.
To FEEL this life—
all of it.

I protest by being REAL.
By ageing,
laughing,
crying,
loving ENORMOUSLY,
f**king things up,
changing my mind,
asking for help,
offering my hand.

I protest by building a strong body
and a strong mind
so I can stand against the

ENDLESS
FU***NG
BOMBARDMENT OF BU****IT

telling us:

YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Not beautiful enough.
Not young enough.
Not successful enough.
Not productive enough.
Not thin enough.
Not wealthy enough.
Not happy enough.

And conveniently—

HERE’S SOMETHING YOU CAN BUY TO FIX IT.

I PROTEST THAT BU****IT.

I protest anything that makes us distrust ourselves
so somebody can sell our trust back to us.
Anything that separates us
so it can sell us belonging.
Anything that creates inadequacy
then sells us the cure.
Anything that teaches us to worship MONEY
above people,
community,
connection,
the earth,
our bodies,
our time,
and this astonishingly brief experience of being alive.

I PROTEST IT ALL.

I protest by trusting myself.
I protest by trusting other humans.
I protest by connecting.
I protest by becoming strong.
I protest by loving.
I protest by resting.
I protest by ageing.
I protest by changing my mind.
I protest by admitting when I am wrong.
I protest by asking for help.
I protest by helping.
I protest by FEELING.
I protest by refusing to make my entire f**king existence about acquiring more.

I protest by living
this messy,
uncomfortable,
magnificent experience
of actually being here.

Not perfect.
Not polished.
Not optimised.
Not packaged.
Not for sale.

WE ARE HUMAN.
WE ARE PEACEFUL.
WE ARE MESSY.
WE F**K UP.
WE LEARN.
WE HELP EACH OTHER HOME.
WE FEEL.
WE CHANGE.
WE LOVE.
WE ARE STILL HERE.

And that is not a failure.
That is not a flaw.
That is not a problem waiting for a price tag.

That is the miracle.
That is the resistance.
That is the revolution.

WE ARE LOVE.

AND WE WERE NEVER A FU***NG PRODUCT TO BEGIN WITH

JUNE CHALLENGE COMPLETE! 💥

This month’s sled challenge didn’t quite go to plan… and maybe that’s exactly why it became one of our best.

The changing sled friction meant every attempt was a little different. It wasn’t always fair, it wasn’t always consistent, and at times it was downright frustrating.

But life isn’t always fair or consistent either.

What mattered wasn’t perfect conditions—it was how this community responded.

Almost every member pushed well beyond 200% of their own body weight, with many topping 300%. The strength, resilience and determination on display were nothing short of incredible.

🏆 Men’s Champion: Nick – 425% of body weight
🏆 Women’s Champion: Laura – 344% of body weight

A special mention to Nadia, who achieved an unbelievable 400% of her body weight but came to a stop just one metre before the finish line.

It was the perfect reminder that success isn’t always measured by the scoreboard. Sometimes it’s measured by the courage to take on something extraordinary.

To every single person who gave it a crack—thank you. You continue to prove that we’re capable of so much more than we think.

Now… who’s ready for the 2-Minute Skip Challenge? 🪢 Sole Frequency

New offerings💜❤️💜

After years of helping people move their bodies, I’ve realised something.

Health is rarely just about exercise.

Sometimes it’s about having someone to walk beside you.

Someone to help create routine.
Someone to share a walk in nature.
Someone to prepare nourishing meals with.
Someone to practise yoga, breathing or meditation with.
Someone to help you reconnect with movement, confidence and wellbeing.

So alongside our classes at Sole Frequency, I’m now offering individual wellbeing support.

A holistic approach to health that may include movement, yoga, nature walks, meal planning and preparation, gardening, community connection and simply creating a little more space to breathe.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing for our health isn’t another program.

It’s feeling supported.

Training for Life, With Love.

In your home, in the studio, in nature, in life.💜

Happy Sunday Sole Crew ❤️

Welcome to winter.

Before we jump into June, a little reflection on May. Our focus was gratitude, movement and awareness—simply noticing how our bodies, moods and energy respond when we move regularly and take the time to appreciate the good things already around us. Sometimes the smallest practices create the biggest shifts.

June’s challenge is our Winter Sled Push Challenge

Everyone will complete the same distance, with sled loads measured in relation to body weight to keep things fair and fun.

For those who enjoy a little extra challenge, I’ll also be adding a weekly bonus challenge’s throughout the winter months.

Week 1 Bonus Challenge: Say goodbye to white bread, white rice, white sugar, milk, cheese and all their sneaky little white friends for 7 days! 😣

Let’s embrace the season, support each other, keep moving and winter well together.

❤️ Amber

Do you know we do Yoga?

7.30pm Thursdays
8.45am Saturdays

I thought I would share tonight’s cozy winter musing.

The words we share may resonate for some.

As we move from the shedding of autumn into the quieter invitation of winter, I’ve been reflecting on how much we too are nature.
Not separate from it.
Part of it.

The trees do not apologise for letting go.
The earth does not resist its need for rest.
Nature does not question the wisdom of slowing down.

And yet so many of us meet our own quieter seasons with frustration.
“What’s wrong with me?”
“Why am I so tired?”
“Why can’t I just get myself together?”

Lately, I’ve felt myself becoming softer, slower, more inward. A deeper need for real rest. More space. More stillness. Less desire to constantly push, produce and perform.

And today, something beautiful landed in me…

Maybe there is absolutely nothing wrong.
Maybe this too is wisdom.
Maybe this too is nature.

Perhaps winter is not asking us to become less, but inviting us to come closer to ourselves with honesty, softness and acceptance.

To recognise that rest is not weakness.
Slowness is not failure.
And feeling deeply is not something to fix.

There is something incredibly healing about allowing ourselves to move with the seasons instead of fighting against them. To soften into what we truly need. To meet ourselves where we are, with warmth rather than judgement.

Tonight’s practice is an invitation to do exactly that.
To slow down.
To breathe deeply.
To warm the body gently.
To soften the edges a little.
And to honour whatever season you may be moving through right now.

“To everything there is a season.” — Ecclesiastes

May this practice remind you that not every season is for blooming.
Some are for resting.
Some are for shedding.
And some are quietly preparing us for what will one day rise again.
