Hey all, if u can spare a couple of bucks, I’m sure Michelle would appreciate it.
She does some kms behind that bar, but nothing compares to this!

A Bloody Long Walk 35km to be exact!!!
Hey Kilburn Family,
Tomorrow, October 18th, I'm walking 35km in The Bloody Long Walk... in one day! Carrick Hill to Glenelg!
The name says it all. It's a crazy challenge and it will be tough, but I'm determined to cross the finish line.
Because I'm walking to support Australians living with mitochondrial disease (mito), a debilitating, fatal disease that has no cure.
Now, here's where you come in...
Please support my efforts by sponsoring my 35km walk to cure mito.

We are excited to announce a newly created position of Player Liaison Manager and appoint Greg Galbraith to this role.

Greg has a wealth of football knowledge and we felt it was important that we tap into that and we are certain our players will benefit from this also.

GG’s work will be during the week at trainings, working with our young group to help develop them ready for A Grade footy plus be a contact to all players in regards to any welfare needs.

Exciting times for the Chics

Welcome to the Chics Jacob Ellbourn!

Jacob joins us from Golden Grove where he led the ruck in their U/17.5 div 1 team and was runner-up B&F the last 2 seasons.

He stands at an impressive 6’4 and is capable of playing at either end of the ground in addition to the ruck.

Jacob is no stranger to the club with Dad, Troy and brother, Harry both involved in our 2023 double premiership year. It will be great to see the Ellbourn family around the club again!

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Rhys O’Keeffe as A Grade Coach over the next 2 seasons.

The O’Keeffe name is synonymous with the Kilburn FC, and we look forward to Rhys putting his own stamp on the football department. SANFL and AFL playing experience as well a premiership player in our 100th year, Rhys is just starting his coaching journey and the whole club is right behind him.
Rhys will be assisted by Darren Vanzetta.

Exciting times ahead for the Chics.

What a privilege it was to host the South Australian Aboriginal Football & Netball Sports Carnival over the past 2 days.
A carnival showcasing Aboriginal sporting talent, culture, friendship and respect.
We had 25+ volunteers each day who did an amazing job and gave up their long weekend providing food and beverage to over 4000 eager carnival brothers and sisters to showcase our great club. 🖤🤍

We also had the honour of hosting the elders in the main hall, the heart and soul of the Aboriginal community here in South Australia. 🖤💛❤️

To the players, congratulations on your sportsmanship, commitment and most importantly the respect to each other over both footy and netball.
Gee you brought some unbelievable skill and brilliance to the football field and netball courts.

To the family, community, friends and spectators who attended.
Thank-you for your patience.
Thank-you for the trust in us to host your families and communities.
Most importantly thank you for showing us an amazing spectacle of sport, culture, family, enjoyment and respect to each other.

Thank you to the committee for having the confidence in us to host this incredible event. We hope we did it proud.
Thanks also to the South Australian Footballer and Sports and in particular Sam who filmed over 20+ games 👏🏻👏🏻

That’s a wrap, we hope we get a chance to host another one at some stage.
