Grand Final Recap 🖤❤️

We started off the day with a Men’s A Res win over Casuals 3-1. The men started off nervous and after conceding the first goal, found their feet and came back to win it all! Shout out the Reuben Boonzaier who took out the Peter Avery MVP, after a display of sleek moves.

Then the Women’s A came out with another win, increasing their record breaking premiership streak to 11 in a row! Sian Crudeli managed to get the ball in the goals and cement the win, which was 1-0 against Australs.

It was then heartbreak for our Men’s A who went down to Casuals after a thrilling and anxiety inducing 1 on 1s. Cam Hoefhamer took out the Bob Mercer MVP of the game after an impressive defensive and tackling effort all night. Although they didn’t get the win we are proud of the men for an amazing season.

Here’s to 2026, and hoping that 2027 is even better 🕷️🕸️🏑

Thanks to Derek for the amazing photos on the day, and to the GHA for the incredible effort we all know is put in for the day.
