Each year, during the second week of January, the Geraldton Golf Club & Spalding Park Golf Club host a week of Golf for Geraldton Country Week Golf! With each club taking turns to host golf events throughout the week, with an array of competitions and generously sponsored prizes. With Competitions for Men & Women!

Not a bad crowd for Day 2 of Liv Golf at The Grange Golf Club - although it wouldn't surprise us if you confused this with the crowd who watched the four hole playoff between Joel Winkley & Nathan Woods for Round 2 of the GMA Garnet Group Geraldton Country Week Grass Green Championships at Spalding Park Golf Club in January!

Golden days return for Geraldton Country Week - GolfWA Nearly 250 golfers from 50 clubs nationwide ensured January's Geraldton Country Week was the biggest it's been for years.

As the final rounds of the 2026 Men's GMA Garnet Group Geraldton Country Week Golf wrapped up, our committee is already in motion preparing the details for the 2027 Geraldton Country Week Golf!
This year was a tremendous one, and we've got some fun stats that help wrap up how our week looked!
⛳️ 5 Massive Days of Golf played over 2 spectacular local courses (Spalding Park Golf Club, Geraldton Golf Club)!
⛳️ 750 Rounds of Golf Played - with the field split to a very full morning and afternoon round!

It was a great day for the fifth and final round of the GMA Garnet Group Geraldton Country Week Golf!
With full fields for both the morning and afternoon round!
Today's daily round was sponsored by Chicken Treat Geraldton and played at Spalding Park Golf Club!

While some might say golf is a calm sport, there is a certain air of excitement at the announcement of a playoff!
And this afternoons final round contenting for the Grass Green Championships played at Spalding Park Golf Club certainly shared that excitement!
On their final hole Joel Winkley from Spalding Park Golf Club and Nathan Woods from Bonville Golf Resort were both on 149 - resulting in a play off.
A sharp tee off Hole #1 followed by a crowd of enthusiastic supporters!
A second tee off Hole #6 with a eirie silence as the balls dropped.
A third tee off Hole #9, with an excellent long putt dropped by Joel resulting in a second play of Hole #1!
The thwack of the ball straight down the middle by both competitors. Joel played an amazing shot from the bunker and Nathan was onto the green from his second shot. It all came down to the putt... the crowd was silent in suspense with Nathan securing the win!
An applause of support erupted from the crowd, congratulations and commiserations were shared, a final hand shake before heading to the Clubhouse for a refreshing... and well deserved beer!
Congratulations to Nathan and Joel on a fantastic game of golf, and congratulations to Nathan for the win! ⛳️
