The forecast is looking promising, so we're set for another great night of racing under lights! Hopefully we've found the sweet spot with enough rain for the farmers and a dry track for the BMX riders. 🌦️🚲

📅 ROUND 14 - SCORING ROUND FRIDAY 12 JUNE 2026 - 12-06-2026 🗓️ 12-06-2026 05:30 PM – 08:00 PM 📍 Woorree Park BMX Club

Stating the obvious on a Tuesday, but with the current rain fall there will be no gates this evening so track will not be open .
With the rain forecast all week we will keep everyone posted about racing Friday.
Reminder: Busy Bee Saturday from 8am.

🛠️🐝 *BUSY BEE NEXT WEEKEND - SATURDAY 13 JUNE!*🐝🛠️

Our track and facilities don't maintain themselves, so we're calling on our amazing club community to lend a hand at our upcoming Busy Bee!

There are plenty of jobs to tackle, including:
✅ Patching and repairing water erosion areas on several jumps
from recent rain events.
✅ Whipper snipping around the track and grounds
✅ Laying artificial turf between the 1st & 2nd straights and the
3rd & 4th straights
✅ General rubbish collection and site clean-up
✅ Cleaning and tidying the rego hut and first aid room
✅ Any other maintenance jobs we can knock over while we have
the manpower

Many hands make light work, and even an hour or two of your time can make a huge difference. This is a great opportunity to give back to the club and help keep our facility looking its best for all riders.

If you have wheelbarrows, shovels, whipper snippers, rakes, gloves or other useful tools, please bring them along. We do have some tools in sea container as well.

The more volunteers we have, the quicker we'll get through the job list. We hope to see plenty of riders, mums, dads, and supporters there!

Due to the rain ☔️ there will be no training and gates tonight —— the track is very soft so will need some clear skies.
The farmers will be happy 😃

💥 TRACK UPDATE 💥

The committee have made the decision that there will be NO bmx (was scheduled as non scoring) tomorrow night due to the recent rain and more wet weather forecast ahead 🌧️

We also need to protect the track surface, with some soft spots developing where water has been sitting. Big thanks to Mike and Caro who swept off water this afternoon and will continue to monitor for us over weekend.
