🏆 MURCHISON HOCKEY CLUB — 2026 CHAMPION CLUB 🏆

We are incredibly honoured to announce that Murchison Hockey Club has been named the 2026 Champion Club.

While this recognition reflects what our club has achieved this season, it is so much bigger than what has happened on the field — and it certainly isn’t built on one good year.
It is the result of every player, every team and every person who has contributed to Murchison Hockey Club throughout 2026.

From our youngest Sub-Junior players taking their first steps onto the turf, right through to our senior grades competing at the highest level, every player has played a part.

- It’s the junior who turned up each week with a smile.
- The player who encouraged a teammate.
- The senior who stepped up to coach a junior team.
- The player who filled in when numbers were tight.
- The umpire who gave up their Saturday.
- The team manager keeping everything running behind the scenes.
- The parent washing uniforms, organising lifts, putting out cones and cheering from the sideline.
- The volunteers who quietly get things done without ever asking for recognition.
- And the supporters who filled the sidelines and backed our teams all season long.

This award belongs to all of you. 💚

Winning is something to celebrate, and we are incredibly proud of what our teams have achieved this season. But ultimately, we play hockey for the friendships, the shared experiences, the community and that feeling of belonging that comes from being part of something bigger than yourself.

Together, we celebrate all of us.

Murchison Hockey Club — 2026 Champion Club.

A club built by many.
A club supported by many.
And a club we can all be proud to call our own.

🏑💚 SEMI-FINALS ARE HERE! 💚🏑

What a season for our junior teams.

All four Murchison junior sides have secured a top-two finish on the ladder, earning their place in the semi-finals.

Our Junior 10/12 Girls, Junior 10/12 Boys, Junior 7/9 Girls and Junior 7/9 Boys have put together fantastic seasons, and now they get the opportunity to compete for a place in the grand final.

We’d love to see plenty of Murchison support at the turf over the next few days. Bring the family, wear your club colours and get behind our up-and-coming stars as they take on the business end of the season.

Four teams. One club. One goal. 💚🖤⭐
