Gladstone Park Tennis Club

So after a long season in Pennant highlighted by two trips to Drouin, we are now at the finals stage of the Tennis Victoria Pennant Grade 22 season, where we finished 2nd, which is a remarkable achievement for the team. So today we are playing Lauriston at our courts from 1pm. This also brings an interesting challenge for the club, as 4 of the Pennant team members are also on the North Suburban Tennis Association B Reserve team, and that season starts today; thankfully, we were able to find players for the NSTA competition as well. The chaos starts at 1 pm.

Congratulations to our D Special Men’s team who won their premiership.

We are finalising our night teams for next season and seeking the following.

D Special Mixed - We just need 1 male player. This is perfect for beginners who have never played in a competition before. (we have now found enough players)

High C Special/Low B Reserve Men's - We are looking for a minimum of 2 players of intermediate to advanced standard to form this team. This is good for someone who has played before and wants to come back.

Ladies D Special - We are looking to form another ladies team, and we need at least 2 ladies. This is perfect for beginners who have never played in competition before.

After a great 1st round at Epping, we now play our first home game for the Tennis Victoria Pennant season.
