🏀 𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗖 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Gladstone Regional Indoor Sports Centre is really starting to take shape!

There has been plenty of progress since our last update, with internal spaces now becoming much easier to recognise and the structural steel rising over the site.

🏀 The recessed area in the first photo will accommodate the 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫
🚿 Brickwork is taking shape around the 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬
🤝 The 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 is also starting to emerge
🏗️ And outside, the structural steel is giving us our clearest indication yet of the scale of the new facility.

It's exciting to see more of the plans becoming a physical space with every update.

🏗️ 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 | 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Exciting progress is being made on the Gladstone Regional Indoor Sports Centre project, construction has reached a major milestone this month, with the building slab now complete.

Since works commenced earlier this year, the site adjacent to Kev Broome Stadium has transformed from a vacant block into a fully prepared foundation ready for the next stage of construction.

Over recent months works have included:
🔹 Site establishment and preparation
🔹 Earthworks and bulk fill activities
🔹 Installation of foundations and underground services
🔹 Reinforcement and formwork installation
🔹 Concrete slab pouring and finishing

With the slab now complete, attention will soon turn to structural steel works as the new facility begins to rise above ground.
