The perfect introduction to basketball for kids! Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or already loves the game, Aussie Hoops is all about learning new skills, building confidence, making friends, and most importantly... having fun!

We also take skill levels into consideration so if you feel your child should be in the opposite group, please speak to our coaches and we can adjust.

The program is designed to engage, inspire, and develop all athletes who are involved in representative basketball programs across Queensland.

A great weekend of development and exposure for Gladstone Basketball’s 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗠𝗰𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹, who represented Gladstone at the annual 𝗕𝗤 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗙𝗗𝗣) 𝗔𝗹𝗹-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽! 👏

Hamish joined athletes from across Queensland, putting his skills into practice, experiencing the BQ style of play and continuing to develop the training habits required to progress at the next level.

As part of his preparation for the camp, Hamish committed to two additional early-morning training sessions each week, putting in the extra work to ensure he was ready for the opportunity

Hamish’s commitment to putting in the extra work is a great example of the attitude and habits needed to continue developing as a player.
