What a great turn out this morning at Lions Park Gladstone. The club released Barramundi fingerlings into Callemondah. As well as some fingerlings being released into the Wilmott Lagoon, which when in flood will flow into Larcom Creek then into Catfish Creek.
These Barramundi fingerlings play a key role in supporting recreational fishing, promotes economic development, and maintaining a healthy aquatic environment.
Massive thanks to Aquaculture Gladstone Hatchery for your support and Joy, for taking the time to help us access the Wilmott Lagoon, it was greatly appreciated.
Big thanks to the Junior members who helped with the release.

The annual trip up to the Patch was one of the better ones we have had for a few years. With a great group of members we tagged some great fish for the weekend and had a great camp , bug life was pleasantly light on and the wind wasn’t blowing too much for a change lol.
