🏑 Glebe Hockey - Juniors! What a way to finish the season ❤️
250 of you packed into presentation day on Saturday, and the noise, the cheering, the sheer number of in one place was something else. Thank you for turning up the way you did 🫶
To every player who pulled on the jersey this season - you showed up in the cold, in the rain, for early and late games, and you got better every week. We're so proud of you 💪
To our coaches, managers and team helpers, every single one of you a volunteer - there is no season without you. You ran the trainings, chased the players, filled in the sheets, carried the gear, held events and made it look easy. Thank you doesn't quite cover it, but thank you 🙏 HUGE shout to Nic and Myf who made this season tick - you are both legends!! 🤘
Special mention to the parents who took on the kids in our "friendly" game. The kids ran rings around you and we think a few of you will be quietly stretching until Christmas 😅
Huge congratulations to all our award recipients. You earned every bit of it. The awards are a lovely bonus, not the point. The players who improved the most, who encouraged a teammate having a tough game, who never missed a training, who simply loved being there, you made this season what it was and we see you 👀 too.
Not ready to put the stick away? ☀️ Summer hockey is open now and registrations close Saturday 20 September. Grab a spot before it's gone > https://forms.gle/7HumNuTJ3EKm18Bi6
