We'd like to welcome Moti Mahal Malvern as another one of our social sponsors for season 2026/2027.

Based in Malvern, Moti Mahal takes its customers on a culinary experience of the rich legacy of Indian cuisine, inspired by the royal kitchens of the Mughal dynasty.

📢 3rd XI CAPTAIN ANNOUNCEMENT 🏏

Super thrilled to announce our leaders to guide our 3rd XI to the ultimate prize this season - Krishnan (C) and John Desmarchelier (VC)

Both boys take the plunge for their first ever leadership role at the Burra, having been regulars as part of our one day format the last few years! Experienced heads both on and off the field - the 3s are in great hands with these 2 leading the way!

Fun fact 🧾: Both boys didn't miss a game last season - playing every possible Saturday in 25/26 ⭐

Congratulations gents and we look forward to an exciting season ahead in the coloured clothing!

Excited to announce our 2nd XI captain for the upcoming season - Jay Kay

After a successful debut season as skipper of our 4ths last season - Jay has shown all the on and off field attributes to go around once again - this time leading our 2s!

Jay not only loves cricket (2nd to his wife), but is a lovable character around the club - ready to go the extra mile for all his teammates!

Jay will work closely with our Senior Cricket leadership group this season - driving an exciting cricket culture at the Burra ⭐
