Burwood Cricket Club

Burwood Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Harman Hundel will be running it back as the 1st XI captain. We were delighted with all the work Harman did last year and are excited to see what he and the team can come up with this year.

We are also pleased to announce that Ned Goodwin and James Wilson will be supporting him as his vice captains. Ned has become an integral part of the 1st as a keeper/bat and provides elite skills and strategy week in week out. We are also delighted to announce that James Wilson is returning to Burwood Reserve!!! James has been one of Burwood’s favourite sons with multiple club champion awards, 1st XI batting awards and multiple premierships. James brings immense depth and strength to the 1st XI and we are all very excited to see what he can do.

These three will be leading our club to glory this year as we look to go one step further in A-Turf!!!

An awesome effort from both clubs to beat out all other sports clubs.

An early win for the black and gold in what will be a stellar 2026/27!!!

There will be free burgers, free fairy floss and free slushies with other drinks available at bar prices.

There will be plenty of activities to get involved in with Kelly sports running some cricket and tennis coaching, a colour run and tug o war. Have a look at the event run sheet provided to see when your favourite activity will be on.

Our 2s take on Mulgrave at Mulgrave Reserve and the 3s also take on Mulgrave at the home of cricket. Well done to all teams for getting to the big dance and good luck to all playing this weekend.
