🏏💚💛 HISTORY IN THE MAKING AT ASHBURTON WILLOWS! 💛💚🏏

WEEK 3 TEAM SELECTIONS ARE HERE!

We’ve got another massive weekend of cricket ahead, but this weekend is about so much more than runs and wickets.

🌟 FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OUR CLUB’S HISTORY, THE ASHBURTON WILLOWS WOMEN’S TEAM TAKES THE FIELD! 🌟

150 years of club history, and we’re about to write a brand-new chapter!

Led by captain Laura Lund, our inaugural women’s side will pull on the Ashburton Willows colours for their first-ever match this Sunday against Deepdene Bears.

This is a huge milestone for our club and something every Willow should be proud of. To all the women taking the field, you’re not just playing a game of cricket — you’re paving the way for the next generation of girls and women to call Ashburton Willows their cricket home.

👏 We couldn’t be prouder of you!

📍 Ferndale Park
📅 Sunday 25 October
⏰ 1:00 PM

We want to see a HUGE Willows crowd at Ferndale Park cheering our women on! Bring the family, wear your green and gold, and be part of a moment we’ll remember for years to come!

🏏 ACROSS THE REST OF THE CLUB

Our 3rd XI takes on Glen Iris at Ferndale Park on Saturday, while our Sunday 1st XI hosts Endeavour Hills at Ashburton Park and our Sunday 2nd XI travels to Zerbes Reserve to face East Doncaster.

Plenty of cricket, plenty of opportunities, and another chance to represent the Willows with pride.
