As one of our premier annual tournaments, this special event celebrates the legacy of Audrey Hele—a beloved and highly regarded former member who made a lasting impact on our community.

Glen Waverley Bowls Club — Opening of the Green 2026/27

Today we officially opened the green for the upcoming season, followed by social bowls, the commencement of our Mixed Fours Club Championship, and a well‑attended club barbecue.
Members enjoyed competitive play, good food, and strong camaraderie throughout the afternoon.

We thank all participants and look forward to a successful season ahead.

☀️ SATURDAY SOCIAL BOWLS IS BACK! 🎉

After a little over two weeks of lawn maintenance, our much-loved Saturday Social Bowls finally returned today — and what a beautiful sunny day it was! 🌞

A huge thank you to Malcolm and Steve for doing a fantastic job organising our Saturday games throughout the winter. 👏👏👏

We had a great turnout today, with more than 40 bowlers, filling both B and C Greens. It was certainly clear just how much our bowlers had missed each others - and, of course, missed being back on our greens! 🥳

Exciting News for Our Pickleball Community!

Glen Waverley Bowls Club Pickleball community is thrilled to have secured a $70,000 grant from the Victorian Government through the Suburban Rail Loop East Community Projects Fund to install lighting across our eight dedicated outdoor pickleball courts.

This exciting project will enable us to make better use of our existing facilities, extend playing opportunities into the evening, and increase community participation in pickleball across Glen Waverley and the surrounding communities.

We sincerely appreciate the generous support and look forward to sharing updates as the project progresses!

With 8 outdoor courts and a welcoming community, join us and discover how much fun pickleball can be. All skill levels welcome.
