Recently, we’ve had more and more runners come in asking us to bring out a specific shoe. After watching them run and assessing their feet, we’ve sometimes realised the shoe they’ve chosen isn’t actually the best fit for them.

When we ask who recommended it, the answer is increasingly: “ChatGPT.”

AI can be a great starting point, but there’s no substitute for someone actually watching you run, understanding your individual feet and biomechanics, and helping you find what works best for you.

Every member of our team is a runner, has tried the shoes on our wall and is skilled in the fit and function of every brand we stock.

Because the best shoe isn’t always the one an algorithm recommends. Sometimes, the best advice is face-to-face. 🏃‍♀️👟

Time is running out! Nominations for the 2027 New Zealand Development Tour close at 11:00am on Monday 31 August. 🇳🇿 ✈️

The 2027 New Zealand Development Tour is an incredible opportunity for Little Athletics Victoria Under 14 and Under 15 athletes from the 2026/27 season.

A team of up to 36 athletes will be selected and will spend 7 days touring with the LAVic team from 6th-13th of January 2027 and will compete at the 2027 North Island "Colgate Games" in Whangārei.

🏅 Trophy Eligibility

To help with some of our rising costs and reduce uncollected awards. This year trophies will be presented to athletes who
competed in 3 or more cross country events or were regular attendees at Ryan’s training sessions or represented Waverley at a Regional or State Cross Country event.

Looking forward to celebrating a great season and recognising the effort, commitment and achievements of our athletes.
