Tateswim - M1 Swimming Club

M1 Tateswim members, past and present, hit the Tan track in Melbourne this morning to run in support of the Bennelong Foundation at the Annual ‘Run the Tan’ event. Swimmers swapped their swimming equipment for a pair of runners and some grit to try and hit their best times around the circuit. Results proved we have talented athletes in and out of the pool! Thanks to Karan FP Fernandes for organising the event.

Congratulations to Karan Fernandes and Damien Lane for their efforts at the LC National Championship Meet in QLD. Both competed in the breaststroke events including the 50, 100 and 200m events. Both boys swam with passion and pride and came away with fantastic results. Special mention to Damien for his 6 second PB in the 200m Breaststroke to take his ranking to 28th in Australia.

Great to see swimmers / coaches Steph, Cooper, Marcia and Kieran venture up north to compete in the Great Barrier Reef Ocean Swim last weekend. ‘An experience that lasts a lifetime’ was the feedback from the crew. Keep making memories team! Great results!
