Well done to our amazing Level 6 and 7 Halos, who attended their first ever Gymstar competition yesterday

Exciting news for Brentwood Gymnastics Club!

BGC have been hoping to transition back to a competitive club in 2023
As such, we have been implementing the Gymstar program during our lessons

Gymstar is perfect for a club like BGC, as it’s designed for clubs with gymnasts who train limited hours and prefer a less competitive environment

It caters to members of all genders, ages and abilities, and is structured to be enjoyable, supportive and positive
Also, the emphasis is on the ex*****on of skills and performance of routines, rather than difficulty

Gymstar combines elements from Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, so our gymnasts will be familiar with the skills and activities
Participants also have the opportunity to compete on Beam, Floor, Parallel Bars, Rings, Uneven Bars and Vault

⭐️ Fosters a welcoming, supportive and social environment for athletes to thrive and have fun

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brentwood Gymnastics Club is excited to announce that we will be running a FREE SUMMER HOLIDAY PROGRAM during the January holidays!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our 2 week fun-filled holiday program will commence on Monday January 10, and will include a morning and afternoon session on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week

WEEK 1 - Monday 10, Wednesday 12 and Friday 14
WEEK 2 - Monday 17, Wednesday 19 and Friday 21

🤸 SESSION TIMES 🤸
MORNING - 10:30-12:00
AFTERNOON - 4:00-5:30

The program is open to BGC Gymnasts, as well as friends and family over the age of 5.
No Gymnastics experience is required!

Led by our awesome coaching team, the sessions will include a variety of activities and games using our fun Gymnastics equipment.
Participants are welcome to attend multiple days per week, and can attend both sessions during the day

Brentwood Gymnastics Club will continue to operate under COVID safe conditions for the holiday sessions.
Full BGC COVID Safe policies will be emailed to all members and participants, and are available to view on our website

Next week, our FREE ZOOM PROGRAM will have a ‘Footy Finals’ theme!

This means, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, gymnasts and coaches are invited to dress up and wear their Football team’s colours during the classes

Brentwood Gymnastics Club will be running a First Aid Course during the School Holidays on Monday June 28

It will be held at the Brandon Park Community Centre (the Gym) and will run from 8:30am-4:15pm (with breaks).

The course is called “Provide First Aid”, HLTAID011, and is valid for 3 years and will be conducted by ‘CPR First Aid’ - RTO ID: 21903

Whilst providing the training for our coaches, it also offers a great opportunity for parents and family members to undertake this important training, and we are opening up our training session to enable you to join us!

The class is capped at 20 participants, so please book in early if you would like to attend. The cost of the course will be $119, which should be paid upon registration
