The club ran a small raffle as a way to show thanks to the many members who volunteered their time during December. Every time a member volunteered they received an entry (250+ entries in total).

Volunteers are the backbone of most bowls clubs and we could not have done it without you. Thank you for your generosity and your passion. You are truly appreciated and valued.

A big thankyou to sponsors of the club for their very generous donations. Total Car Care Centre (9560 0666) has been a great friend to the club for many years. Keyton (keyton.com.au) has also been a partner and friend of the club, with a few exciting opportunities coming in 2024.

We have some exciting news to share with you. We are happy to announce that we now have **pickleball** at the Glen Waverley Bowls Club! 🏓

Pickleball is a fun and easy sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It can be played by anyone, regardless of age or skill level. It's a great way to stay fit, socialize, and have fun. 😊

We invite you to come and try pickleball at our club. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, you will surely enjoy this fast-growing sport. We look forward to seeing you on the court soon! 🙌

Let’s admit, Melbourne hasn’t provided the warmest of spring nights but we can’t complain about the night sky. Amazing hosts at Morrabbin Bowls Club. A good win for our team even with 1 bowler short.

Another magnificent day in the sun down at Moorabbin Bowls Club. The home side pushed us all the way, we look forward to our next game with them. It’s not about the scoreboard but the teamwork to get there.

In saying that, it was great to see a new bowler so enthusiastic with our win, way to go Vandant.

Have to enjoy a night like this. Tuesday night bowls is the best. For the newer bowlers it’s a great way to learn the game, its rules while also having fun and enjoying great company

A great day at Gee W. All sides got a victory, thus why the selector (Martin) has a big grin. Why would you play bowls at any other club. A great team win.
